Tomato "Royal Purple"

Origin and Characteristics: This is a relatively new variety, bred by breeder Lee Goodwin from New Mexico, USA. "Royal Purple" was developed by crossing with the famous and beloved "Cherokee Purple" variety, from which it inherited the best traits.
Growth Type: indeterminate (main stem growth is unlimited).
Height: the plant is powerful and tall, recommended to be trained and staked. Optimal height for control is about 200 cm.
Training: the plant is trained to a single stem, with mandatory removal of side shoots (suckering).
Ripening Time: mid-season (the period from full germination to the start of fruit ripening is 105-110 days).
Disease Resistance: the variety is tolerant to main tomato diseases.
Cultivation: suitable for cultivation both in protected (greenhouses, hotbeds) and open ground. Seedlings are pricked out at the phase of one or two true leaves.
Color and Appearance: large fruits have a noble "black" (deep burgundy-brown) color with characteristic dark green veining at the stem end (shoulders).
Shape: classic heart-shaped form "oxheart".
Weight and Size: fruits are very large, weighing from 250 to 500 grams and more, can reach 5-15 cm in length.
Flesh and Taste: flesh is dense, meaty, dark red in color. The taste is the main advantage of the variety: excellent, rich, complex and multifaceted, with an amazing aroma.
